Founder Kathryn Shirke, M.A. holds a master-level degree in childhood education from Bank Street College and a bachelor-level degree from Fordham University in English literature. She holds a certification in Children’s Yoga from Asana Alphabet Yoga and taught yoga in public schools to children throughout New York City. She has been teaching dance and movement to children for over 14 years and is a mother of two. She also teaches ballet at Manhattan Youth. Her lifelong passion for movement inspires her students.
