In November, Dr. Andrei Cimpian will run a virtual workshop to present strategies, activities, and communication tools for increasing young children's motivation in school. He will discuss the idea of a “growth mindset,” which is the belief that intelligence can be developed, rather than being fixed at birth. We will also discuss how young children’s mindsets about ability can shape their responses to adversity in school and how we can help young children view challenges as exciting rather than threatening.
