Virtual Info Session: Exploring the NYC Suburbs

Whether you were always planning to move to the suburbs at some point or are making a lifestyle choice after many months of living through a global pandemic with young children – come learn about the suburb areas of NYC and start daydreaming about your new life with plenty of space, a private yard, and easier grocery shopping.

Compass agent and fellow mom Lindsay Rothman of Why Westchester, along with a few other mom/dad agents from Westchester / Hudson Valley, Connecticut, New Jersey, Long Island and Brooklyn, will provide you with information on all of the major suburban areas of NYC. There will also be time for any questions you might have about towns/areas, commuting times, buying or selling.

Please feel free to bring a glass of wine with you to the call, so you can sip away while picturing your future dream house! And if you’re not already a member, please also join the Facebook group Exploring the NYC Suburbs to find out about new listings and connect with other parents thinking about making the move out of NYC.

This a free event, but RSVPs are required by 5pm EST on the day of the talk. Everyone who signs up will receive an email ahead of time with instructions for joining via Zoom, and a recording will be sent to registrants afterward in case you miss it.

By signing up for this event, you agree to be added to Mom Crew’s and Lindsay Rothman’s mailing list. You may unsubscribe at any time. If you would like to join without opting in, please email Mom Crew.

With an amazing eye for design, Lindsay Rothman helps clients see possibilities they might otherwise have missed, whether that's helping a seller to maximize their own property's best features or guiding a buyer who has overlooked a diamond in the rough. Lindsay got her start in the business by staging the homes of friends and family members, nearly all of which sold within weeks, proving that she had a natural gift for real estate marketing. Today, Lindsay applies that talent throughout her native Westchester County where loves helping clients see the possibilities in something that isn't perfect and assisting those relocating to the suburbs from the city, as she did herself.

Prior to real estate, Lindsay was a special education teacher, an experience that formed important skills she uses to this day. "Being a teacher not only taught me how to communicate clearly, but it also taught me how to really listen, with patience and empathy," she explains. "It also gave me the thickest skin you can imagine!" In her free time, Lindsay loves spending time with friends and family, staying active and sampling Westchester's amazing restaurants.
